setting up the reference and drawing the lines




next i imported the image from photoshop to 3ds max, and put it onto a plane to be used as a reference image



then i drew lines a round the topology and converted them into an editable poly


Starting off




First things first I decided to line up my face and head in photoshop. Getting it ready to have the topology drawn all over it, I used the ruler tool to match up all my features as precisely as possible, so that my eyes ears nose mouth and chin were all in line with each other




Here is the topology drawn all over my head, ready to be put into 3ds max
